Kami does, but there are certain rules, I guess, when speaking Japanese. :3 Like for example, when you're ending a word like this, kami will have to change to gami when ending it. Err... other examples like, hanaji or bloody nose, hana(nose) + chi(blood) will change to hanaji. So, instead of shinikami, it'll be shinigami. :3 I hope this helped a bit. fact
